A EDUCAÇÃO NA CONSTITUIÇÃO DA SUBJETIVIDADE NEOLIBERAL

This article seeks to understand the impact of the neoliberal economic model on Latin American education, especially in Brazil. In this sense, it seeks an understanding of psychology as a continuation of the economy, that is, how an economic model does not interfere exclusively in its own sphere, but represents a change in the entire social and individual structure, constituting a neoliberal subjectivity that, in turn, is necessary for neoliberalism to be implemented effectively, that is, weakening resistance against this model. Thus, the article is presented in three stages: (i) understanding neoliberalism in Latin America; (ii) the impact of neoliberalism on Brazilian education; (iii) the relationship between economics and psychology in the constitution of a neoliberal subjectivity.
