EMPREGO DO GEOGEBRA NO ENSINO DA GEOMETRIA ANALÍTICA NA FORMAÇÃO INICIAL DE PROFESSORES DE MATEMÁTICA (Angola)

Abstract

This article is part of a qualitative research carried out as a partial requirement for obtaining a Master's Degree in Educational Sciences, in the specialty of Teaching Mathematics, from the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences of Sumbe. It aimed to propose didactic-methodological procedures, implemented in didactic situations that contribute to the teaching-learning process of solving conic equations (ellipses) with the use of the GeoGebra software and was developed in the 1st year at the Higher Institute of Education Sciences in Sumbe, Angola. We consider that Geogebra is characterized as an important tool in the teaching and learning process of this discipline, since it seeks to raise motivations in thinking about mathematicians, in addition to this approach contributing to the formation of a vision of Mathematics as a dynamic and socially constructed science. These aspects addressed in the classroom aim to stimulate learning, in addition to enabling better systematization of mathematical content. To carry out the proposal, a qualitative study was necessary, with the design of a didactic sequence evaluated through observations, planning, control and execution. The results and the satisfaction noted in part of the students demonstrated that the class was able to develop learning, establish mathematical relationships and not only, but also realized that through the Software the understanding of other content, in the classroom, provides a more attractive learning and meaningful.
