Phenomenological-Existential Psychology emerges as a rich possibility for investigating and understanding human experiences in all the niches where they are experienced, offering space to explore the contemporary demands that permeate psychological practice. This theoretical study, from a qualitative perspective, seeks to understand the multidimensionality of the phenomenological-existential perspective in relation to contemporary demands. Therefore, several pertinent themes are presented: Foundations of Phenomenological-Existential Psychology; History and Evolution of the Theoretical Perspective; Main Theorists and Contributions; Key Concepts; Understanding Subjective Experience; Freedom and Responsibility: Clinical Foundations!; Authenticity, a Possibility of Understanding!; Clinical Applications: A Look at Practice!; Phenomenological-Existential Therapy, a Brief Digression!; Interventions in Mental Health; Phenomenological-Existential Psychology in Education; Importance of Listening; Impact of Technology on Clinical Practice; The Question of Identity; The Search for Meaning. It is concluded that as the field advances, it is imperative that both theory and practice remain in tune with the evolving landscape of human existence, effectively addressing the profound questions and challenges that define our collective journey. Adopting these principles can improve not only individual well-being but also contribute to a broader social understanding of what it means to exist authentically in a complex world.
