LITERATURE, VIOLENCE AND FEMINICIDE

Abstract

This research aims to develop a reflective reading of two mini-stories written by Ana Elisa Ribeiro, namely: “felizinhas” and “os nome, não”, both inserted in the book kiss, good luck (2015). The central theme of the narratives is violence against women in its various faces, particularly femicide. To theoretically discuss these issues, our study combines the theoretical concepts proposed by Heleieth Saffioti (2015), Gerda Lerner (2019) and Ana Maria Colling (2014). Finally, the main objective was based on the construction of a political, sociocultural, ethical and aesthetic reading of the mini-stories, seeking to raise questions about the social paradigms imposed by the culture of patriarchy.
