Abstract

In the educational process, school is considered the place of learning and culture that lead to the construction of shared meanings between teacher and student. It is understood that the educational process occurs as a social and cultural phenomenon, where reflection on knowledge and its relationships are continually redimensioned in a negotiation and recreation of meanings. Therefore, for the construction of knowledge to occur in a reflective dimension, interaction and mediation must serve as guiding elements of the dialogue between teacher and student. In this regard, the present work has as its theme “demonstrative experiments on communicating vessels in grade 10”. To support the theme raised, the objective of instigation was defined: to develop a methodological proposal of demonstrative experiments to improve the Physics Teaching-Learning Process on communicating vessels, in grade 10 using low-cost materials. Using the diagnosis carried out through research methods (theoretical, empirical and statistical), it was found that the Physics PEA, due to the lack of laboratories and materials that allow for the carrying out of experiments, most teachers only plan theoretical classes and exercise resolution, hence the authors' interest in presenting the methodological steps that aim to carry out demonstrative experiments on communicating vessels using low-cost materials.
