Rethinking Therapeutic Relationships of Mental Health at a University Hospital:

A Histobiographical Narrative After Psychiatric Reform

Abstract

This research was source in my own academical activity experience in a general hospital, from this experience arouse many questions and reflections about the Psychiatric Reform and mainly in the post reform context. My observations make me pay attention in the problems founded on the new paramenters of mental health like, revolving door, patient deinstitutionalization, psychologist work on mental health and the symptoms treatment. Supporting on historiobiography method and Phenomenology, ethnographic theory, I proposed colect data in a general hospital and record it in a field diary describing my feelings and perseptions, begining with recorded datas this research objective is reflect and rethink about the therapeutic relationships in the mental health services, focusing the new dilemmas on the context of post Psychiatric Reform.
