Evaluation criteria
Submissions to the FAARTES Journal will initially be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, which will assess their compliance with the Author Guidelines and technical standards. Each paper will then be reviewed by one or more reviewers who have conducted similar work, taking into account the following criteria:
a) relevance of the text to the dissemination and development of knowledge in the arts, specifically focused on the journal's themes of interest;
b) originality (significant or innovative contribution);
c) appropriate use of technical standards, observing the journal's Author Guidelines;
d) conceptual clarity and use of up-to-date references;
e) methodology (adequacy and thoroughness in addressing the subject);
f) adherence to the journal's Editorial Policy.
The evaluation system will be double-blind. Reviewers reserve the right to submit a favorable or unfavorable opinion. Reviewers also reserve the right to suggest modifications, provided they do not alter the text's ideas, to expedite the publication process. In this case, the Editor must forward the suggestions to the authors, who must make the modifications within the deadline determined by the Editor, while maintaining the confidentiality of the reviewers' names.
