O artigo refere-se às expressões urbanas usadas na região norte, mais precisamente no estado do Amazonas. A canção exposta neste artigo, é de autoria do cantor Nicolas jr., chama-se “Amazonês” e reflete a identidade cultural dos nativos dessa região. A conversa com um nascido e criado em terras Barés é, sem dúvidas, cheia de interrogações referentes a palavras desconhecidas de quem mora em outros estados brasileiros. Nosso dialeto é realmente peculiar. O trabalho reporta algumas expressões e gírias que identificam a realidade, as tradições e o cotidiano local, sobre o referido tema. A análise da música utilizada foi embasada em pesquisa bibliográfica. O estudo procura evidenciar a “mistura” de sotaques e expressões que resultou nos discursos e linguagens que usamos hoje, denominado aqui de Amazonês. Portanto, a análise da canção se dá pela importância de resguardar o legado da realidade passada e presente na linguagem e língua social de um determinado povo.

ABSTRACT
The article refers to the urban expressions used in the North region, more precisely in the state of Amazonas. The song displayed in this article is by the singer Nicolas Jr., is called “Amazonês” and reflects the cultural identity of the natives of this region. The conversation with a person born and raised in lands “Barés” is, no doubt, full of questions regarding unknown words that those who live in other Brazilian states. Our dialect is very different. The study reports some expressions and slangs that identify the reality, traditions and local daily life, about this theme. The analysis of the music used was based on bibliographic research. The study seeks to high light the “mix” of accents and expressions that resulted in the discourses and languages we use today, called here Amazonês. Therefore, the analysis of the song is due to the importance of safeguarding the legacy of past and present reality in the language and social language of a given people.
