RESUMO

Nesta pesquisa pretende-se, atraves de um estudo bibliográfico e narrativo compreender como o fenômeno das redes sociais  e as representações sociais que se constroem a partir delas, contribui para o processo de despersonalização. Buscou-se apresentar o conceito de despersonalização na obra do filósofo sul-coreano Byung-Chull Han e o Transtono de Despersonalização/desrealização do DSM V. As representações sociais que constroem na cultura digital desempenham um papel fundamental na construção da realidade social, influenciando as percepções, atitudes e comportamentos dos indivíduos em relação a si mesmos e aos outros. Concluiu-se que na era da transparência digital e da exposição constante nas redes sociais, as pessoas se tornam cada vez mais homogêneas e conformistas, que a pressão para se conformar aos padrões de visibilidade e sucesso social cria um ambiente onde a individualidade é sacrificada em prol da aceitação e da validação externa, causando sensações de cansaço, crises de identidade e a despersonalização.

SOCIAL NETWORKS, SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONS, AND DEPERSONALIZATION IN BYUNG-CHUL HAN: A NARRATIVE STUDY

ABSTRACT

In this research, through a bibliographic and narrative study, the aim is to understand how the phenomenon of social networks and the social representations constructed through them contribute to the process of depersonalization. The study sought to present the concept of depersonalization in the work of the South Korean philosopher Byung-Chul Han, as well as the Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder described in the DSM-V. The social representations built within digital culture play a fundamental role in the construction of social reality, influencing individuals’ perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors toward themselves and others. It was concluded that, in the era of digital transparency and constant exposure on social networks, people become increasingly homogeneous and conformist; the pressure to conform to standards of visibility and social success creates an environment in which individuality is sacrificed in favor of acceptance and external validation, leading to feelings of exhaustion, identity crises, and depersonalization.
