Critical summary of the thesis "Inventing Autonomies in the Middle Solimões: A Dialogical Ethnography of Radio Xibé and its Networks," defended at the National Museum of UFRJ in 2015. It addresses the researcher's trajectory, the formulation of a dialogical anthropology of media inspired by post-colonial theories and the anthropology of colonialism, the elaboration of a concept of performance that helps to understand resistance in the practices and narratives of Radio Xibé participants, the weaving of a polyphonic narrative of Xibé's history, the virtual ethnography of the relationships and perceptions of the radio by activists who interacted with it remotely via the internet, and the critical review of the history of radio and its importance in contemporary struggles for autonomy.
