The studies of the techniques of the management of the soil and of the secondary vegetation to come being carried in Amazon in the of the systems agroforest, as form of the increase the sustainability of this production system. This paper objective to described and to analyzed, due to importance of the management of the soil, by use of the fallowing, in family agriculture, the technique used by traditional farmers in recover of the soil undersystem of the production roça, as well the species principals used to enrich the secondary vegetation.
