uma leitura inicial de sua obra no contexto brasileiro ancorada no conto “A Gravata”

The following text presents an analysis of a short story by Benjamin Sanches, an amazonian author, whose book o outro e outros contos was published in the 60s, temporally removed, therefore, from the modernist experimentations from the rest of the country. An attempt is made to show that, despite such a distance, there is no reason for having been ignored by the specialized reviewers, since his work features characteristics traditionally considered modernistic.
