Stemming from the analysis of the thought and work of Dalcídio Jurandir the text portrays the constitution of his life as part of the work, raising aspects which constitutes the identity of the “caboclo”. In this work the man as part of the nature that Dalcídio presents is portrayed in a lyrical fashion. Enchantment and unveiling are part of the context that juxtaposes the woman-mother within the same symbolism. The text is an appeal to unmask who is Dalcídio. The way the “caboclo” sees himself, his self-portrait is within Dalcídio’s work.
