QUANDO O ESPÍRITO SANGRA: DIALÉTICA E FIGURAS DA LIBERDADE

Resumo

O artigo investiga a transição do jovem Hegel até a Fenomenologia do Espírito, com foco no papel da dialética transcendental na constituição da liberdade e da emancipação da consciência. Partindo da crítica à certeza sensível, o texto mostra como Hegel supera o imediatismo por meio da mediação conceitual, culminando na figura da consciência de si e na dialética do senhor e do escravo. A análise recorre à crítica de autores como Axel Honneth, Jürgen Habermas e Susan Buck-Morss para discutir o potencial político do reconhecimento e a sua relação com a história. O trabalho sustenta que a luta por reconhecimento é central tanto na formação do espírito quanto na crítica social, articulando a ética, a política e a ontologia.

WHEN THE SPIRIT BLEEDS: DIALECTICS AND THE FIGURES OF FREEDOM

Abstract

This article explores the transition from the young Hegel to the Phenomenology of Spirit, focusing on the role of transcendental dialectics in the constitution of freedom and the emancipation of consciousness. Beginning with a critique of sense-certainty, the text demonstrates how Hegel overcomes immediacy through conceptual mediation, culminating in self-consciousness and the master-slave dialectic. Drawing on thinkers such as Axel Honneth, Jürgen Habermas, and Susan Buck-Morss, the article addresses the political potential of recognition and its connection to history. It argues that the struggle for recognition is central to both the development of spirit and social critique, integrating ethics, politics, and ontology.
