The present study aimed to analyze the quality of life (QoL) of night shift workers in the city of Campina Grande/PB. The study utilized a sample of 69 night shift workers, collecting sociodemographic data, and work conditions, and employing the WHOQOL-Bref, a shortened version of the WHOQOL-100 questionnaire comprising 26 questions covering the physical, psychological, social, and environmental domains. This is a descriptive quantitative-qualitative study, using the abbreviated version of the Quality of Life Assessment of the World Health Organization (WHO), the WHOQOL-Bref. It was verified that the approaches and conceptualizations about the quality of life are presented in the literature in a diversified way, as well as in the conception of the individuals. As a result of the research, an average level of satisfaction was proven both for the overall quality of life and for the physical, psychological, social, and environmental domains. We understand as paramount the advance towards a broader understanding of the quality of life as a condition of health and well-being and bio-psycho- social development of the individual.
