The object of this paper is the relationship between Neuroscience and Education. It aims to reflect on the importance of Neuroscience knowledge in the initial and continuing education of pedagogues. Drifting from academic research based on the question/issue: How can Neuroscience knowledge contribute to the initial training of pedagogues? The study was carried out with a qualitative approach, integrating two types of research: an Integrative Literature Review, with a time frame from 2019 to 2024; and Documentary Research, analyzing the current (2019) Undergraduate Pedagogy Course Program and a proposed program (2024) from a public university. The results highlight the gaps related to Neuroscience knowledge in teacher training and show that most universities do not offer the Neuroscience discipline in their curricula. It is concluded that Neuroscience brings benefits to the training of pedagogues and that its inclusion is necessary in both initial and continuing education.
