This text addresses the theme of Continuing Education in Context as a foundation for a respectful pedagogical practice in early childhood, based on the Pikler Approach. The objective is to analyze how the continuous formative process at CIEI Creche da Liberdade (São Luís-MA) translates Piklerian principles into daily praxis. The methodology is qualitative field research, via an experience report (2021-2023), using participant observation and semi-structured interviews with teachers, support staff, and families, with content analysis. The results indicate that the training, based on "reflection in action" (Schön, 1997) and involving the entire community, provoked a paradigmatic shift, leading the staff to see the baby as a person. They also show the incorporation of the Piklerian triad (the quality of the adult's gesture, speech, and gaze) as a bonding tool. It is concluded that in-context training is the fundamental mechanism enabling the transition from theory to praxis, overcoming the adult-centric culture and building an institutional culture of respect and affective security.
