This article presents a study that investigated the repercussions of body practices, especially group-based ones, on the health and quality of life of users of the Unified Health System (SUS) treated at a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS). The study focused on individuals with a history of participation in body practices coordinated by occupational therapists. This is a qualitative, cartographic research conducted with six participants through interviews and the completion of a virtual form. Data were analyzed using Thematic Analysis. The results indicate the participants' involvement in various body practices, both within the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) and outside it, including dance, yoga, walking, Pilates, and groups coordinated by occupational therapists. The study demonstrated positive effects of these practices on anxiety relief, improved self-perception, and expression of feelings, reaffirming their therapeutic potential for mental health care and for Occupational Therapy.
