THE USE OF APPLICATIONS IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE LITERACY

In the contemporary world, there are numerous learning applications containing a list of languages, each with a particular peculiarity as regards the methodological process of how this language is taught. In view of this, the present article has the objective of analyzing, briefly, the process of the use of mobile applications as a literacy tool of the Japanese language, in the L2 modality. The Japanese language has a writing system that differs from the Portuguese language, which initially requires the student to go through the literacy process, that is, to associate how each sound behaves with a certain kana (letter). Thus, it is aimed to know how this practice is discussed in the Brazilian academic community through scientific works, in addition to merge this knowledge with the understanding of authors that corroborate with themes related to literacy, Japanese language teaching and learning in technology. Respectively, Barbosa (2013), Costa (2013) and Masetto (2000). The method adopted in the present work is based on bibliographic research in the studied area and bibliographical surveys. It is hoped that the result will be the best understanding regarding the subject matter.
