O propósito do presente artigo é, por meio de um cotejamento entre Eric Weil e o chamado homem da obra, apresentar um panorama sobre a obra weiliana. O texto será dividido em duas seções, seguidas de Considerações Finais. Inicialmente, alguns dos principais conceitos do pensamento weiliano, como atitudes e categorias, são esboçados. Após esse passo, detém-se na categoria da violência pura da lógica da filosofia weiliana: a obra. Partindo da experiência pessoal de Weil com o nazismo enseja-se traçar as ilhas gerais de como o pensamento do autor compreende o homem que motivou a sua reflexão, ensinando uma lição involuntária ao filósofo autor da Lógica da filosofia.

THE PHILOSOPHER AND HIS UNVOLUNTARY MASTER

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is, through a parallel between Weil and the so-called man of the work, to present an overview of Weil's work. The text will be divided into two sections, followed by Final Considerations. Initially, some of the main concepts of Weilian thought, such as attitudes and categories, are highlighted. After this stage, he stops at the category of pure violence in the logic of Weilian philosophy: the work. Starting from Weil's personal experience with Nazism, we can outline the general principles of how the author's thinking understands the man who motivated his reflection, teaching an involuntary lesson to the philosopher who wrote The Logic of Philosophy.
