QUILOMBO DO AMÉRICA E A MIGRAÇÃO NEGRA
Resumo
Esse estudo é construído a partir da realização de um Estado da Arte sobre o conceito de migração, cujo o foco desta pesquisa é a migração negra e a sua relação com o Quilombo do América, abordando aspectos culturais e identitários, no Nordeste do Pará, na cidade de Bragança/PA[1]. O objetivo é localizar prioritariamente teses, dissertações, bem como artigos acadêmicos e bibliografias que tratem sobre a temática migração e migração negra. Estabelecer um diálogo entre os autores do campo migratório e relacionar com os estudos sobre cultura, identidade e quilombo, apontar indicativos de traços identitários deste povo considerado de “tradicionais”. O método da pesquisa é de cunho histórico por meio de um Estado da Arte a fim de identificar fontes teóricas para estabelecer um diálogo entre a categoria migração negra e a categoria quilombo. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que a população negra migrou para o Brasil, por meio de um processo de “migração forçada”, sendo transladados para outras regiões brasileiras até chegar e se estabelecer na Amazônia Bragantina através da “migração interna”, todo esse processo aqui identificamos como “migração negra”. A motivação econômica é a motivação com maior relevância para a realização de um deslocamento migratório. A população quilombola se auto identifica enquanto remanescentes da população afro-brasileira, cativos da escravidão em fuga, que se estabeleceram na região, com caraterísticas identitárias e cultural. Concluímos, que a pesquisa desenvolvida identificou estudos sobre a questão da migração negra, pesquisas, artigos e monografias que tratam sobre conceito de quilombo, alguns elementos identitários e culturais. A identidade cultural da população quilombola tem traços decorrentes da resistência contra a escravidão e a luta por direito à moradia no Quilombo do América e ao longo da história do negro na Amazônia paraense.

ABSTRACT: This study is based on the accomplishment of a State of the Art on the concept of migration, whose focus is the black migration and its relationship with the Quilombo of America, addressing cultural and identity aspects, in the Northeast of Pará, in the city of Bragança / PA. The objective is to locate as a priority the theses, dissertations, as well as academic articles and bibliographies that deal with the issue of migration and black migration. Establish a dialogue between the authors of the migratory field and relate to the studies on culture, identity and quilombo, indicating indicative traces of this people's identities considered as "traditional". The research method is historical in nature through a State of the Art in order to identify theoretical sources to establish a dialogue between the black migration category and the quilombo category. The results of the research indicate that the black population migrated to Brazil through a process of "forced migration", being transferred to other Brazilian regions until arriving and establishing itself in the Bragantina Amazon through "internal migration", all this process here we identify as "black migration." The economic motivation is the motivation with greater relevance for the accomplishment of a migratory displacement. The quilombola population identifies themselves as remnants of the Afro-Brazilian population, captives of fugitive slavery, who settled in the region, with identity and cultural characteristics. We conclude that the research developed identified studies on the issue of black migration, research, articles and monographs that deal with the concept of quilombo, some elements of identity and culture. The cultural identity of the quilombola population has traits stemming from the resistance against slavery and the struggle for the right to housing in the Quilombo of America and throughout the history of the Negro in the Amazon Pará.
